Gandia Blasco, best known today for its line of outdoor furniture, was born in 1941, founded by José Gandía-Blasco as a family organization dedicated to the production of blankets located in Ontinyent (Valencia). When José A. Gandía-Blasco assumes higher responsibility in the management of the company, he realizes the needs of a change.
In 1996, established a new line of business, due to the personal needs of José A. to furnishing the terrace of the house that the architect Ramón Esteve was building for him in Ibiza, with him they started to develop a line of outdoor furniture. The result is a design that combines the comfort of its functionality to a high aesthetic component, helping to consolidate the company's strategy of expanding positioning itself as a world leader in outdoor furniture.c
